Cookie cookbook where I found I liked baking many of these recipes

A good mix of cookie recipes, although it would have been nice to have pictures of each recipe. It would be helpful to have nutritional information as well. I did find some recipes that are new to me, so will probably try some of them.

I didn't learn how to cook growing up, I always was outside working with my Dad. My head under the hood of a big rig and fetching tools. My brothers hated working with him, and I was the only one that loved it. I did learn how to fend for myself with cars and almost anything else. My dad always said that it good to be a girl, but that girl needed to know how to be self-sufficient. Well, I definitely am that, thanks to him. Oh, and he always made me wear gloves to that I would still have soft hands WITHOUT grease under the nails!!! LOL That being said I have collected cookbooks so that I can fix anything that I want. I love having the digital ones, they don't take up any space. Also having a small family now that the kids and grandkids are grown, having a cookbook is the only way to go in making smaller portions. I like to see what the cookie is supposed to look like. I always adjust the recipe according to my taste and understanding. Without the picture, I have much more difficulty understanding.

I bought this for a girl I know thats getting married. She absolutely loved it!

So many different types of cookies that can be made. There is something for everyone, whether they like chocolate, nuts, fruits, caramel, etc. This is a great resource to use especially around Christmas time - you could wow the family with a variety of new and delicious cookies instead of plain old sugar cookies.

I enjoyed this book tremendously. My children and I love backing cookies together and I am always looking for new recipes to keep things fun and fresh in the kitchen. I bought this book because of the price (very affordable) and the beautiful cover and was not disappointed in any way. This book contains fantastic recipes, including many I’d not seen anywhere else, and perfect and precise baking instructions. It has been a joy to flip through this cookbook, try some of the recipes and enjoy new ideas for baking with my kids.The recipes included in the book are simple to prepare, don’t have an excessive number of hard-to-find ingredients and are delicious. I particularly enjoyed the recipes for Chocolate Honey Cookies and Chocolate Cheesecake Bars.I feel I got a real bargain with this book.
