Finally found what I needed!
I sit at my dining room table each morning to study and start my day. I have tall chairs (I’m 6’6” so I know tall) and am a bit OCD so needed a foot rest to be comfortable. I was trying boxes, unopened containers of trash bags, plastic totes, etc. Then a friend said for me to type in footrests into Amazon search, and hallelujah! (I said I was tall but not always smart.) This footrest fits the bill wonderfully! It’s easy to adjust and made solid. The only con is it creaks a bit, but that’s my small OCD having the issue. And yes, it would be nice to be longer for my ski-sized feet, but at 13.5 inches it’s great.

Rocks but otherwise works as intended
Using it every day at my desk. It does rock and I wish it would lock in place. If it locked it would be 5 stars. Eventually I’ll get something that doesn’t move as much.

Not helpful for what I need it for.
I thought would help my feet not to swell, but no such luck.

TERRIBLE ASSEMBLY - INSTRUCTIONS IN REVIEW
Edit: In my initial review I didn't include that the foot rest had a terrible odor. I hate when I read reviews that don't let products air out and turn complain. The smell is incredibly strong but I figured a day outside wood do the trick. Next day, could smell it from several feet away when I opened the door. I've now left it for a week and it's still too strong to even bring inside the house. I'm having to return it because I'm confident it'll stop smelling.Once assembled, this is a nice foot rest. However, this was absolutely terrible to assemble. I assumed it would come ready for use - nope. But it also came without instructions. And there was a single piece missing, so at first it seemed like it was broken. But in the bottom of the box I found a small silver rod that was missing from the front. Here's how I figured out to get it assembled, after much trial and error:The center part where the rod goes should be below the rest of the base. The base has slots to help ease the bar into place. You're going to have to force the bar through the side with the V shape far enough that the bar is flush with the edge on the other side and can be pushed (forced) up to the height of the hole on the base. Then you have to pry the bar sideways and through the other hole. It's a crazy amount of force required - I was positive I was going to break something. Sorry if that's not very clear, but it's hard to explain and hopefully easier once you see it.
