One of best pens EVER! & that’s saying a lot coming from the “pen princess” for myself. Lol!It’s hard to find a good pen and once you do, it’s great!So fun with all of the colors! The ink flow is so smooth and writes incredibly nice! They do not smear and last forever!Everytime I use them and let people use one they want to keep it!! Always get compliments on the colors! I have to write in blue or blank ink for my job but and I love the shade and feel when using these pens! Love using the various colors for my notes!Purchases two packs because I love them so much 😍

I received these pens yesterday and I’ve written quite a lot with each one and I can’t say enough about them. They write so smooth, have a comfort grip, you don’t have to press hard and they don’t skip, the ink flows beautifully. The colors are vibrant and they’re flawless for journaling which I do a lot of. My new favorite pens, I highly recommend.

The assorted colors in this 8-pack of Pilot Precise V5 RT pens add fun and functionality to note-taking or creative projects. The extra-fine 0.5mm tip ensures sharp, clean lines with every stroke. Plus, the retractable design makes them easy to use and carry anywhere.

I compared this set of pens to my own set of BIC Gelocity pens for comparison. In short: Pilot pens are better with the exception of the yellow pen (image below). The pink has comparable saturation, which is good. I actually like the light green better in Pilot compared to Gelocity; it was a less saturated color that's a bit darker, which is better for readability. The light blue and purple don't quite compare to the Gelocity ones. The shade isn't the same, and I think I would've liked the light blue better if it was just a smidge darker or more saturated. I think Pilot's purple is a winner, though. Gelocity is a bit too dark. Pilot wins in orange, too. The Gelocity option has too much yellow which makes it hard to read. Another pleasant surprise was the black pen. I compared it to my favorite pen, and surprisingly, I think the Pilot pen has darker ink! Mine is more of a grey-black where Pilot's is a true black. I bought this set mostly for the colored pens, but I'm going to get a lot of mileage out of the black pen which I did not expect.Really, the only downside is the yellow pen. I'm really not sure where you'd use it. It's just going to collect dust, for me, so I really wish they'd put in a different color entirely. A navy blue, teal, grey... almost anything besides yellow would've been a better choice.Compared to the gel pens, these pens also don't seem to bleed through the paper nearly so badly. The ink doesn't "pool" that much when you press down and hold, which I consider a plus.

I love pens. These are great. Not too bold, not too thin but just right.

PURCHASED 1/2025 - PILOT Precise V5 RT Extra-Fine Premium Retractable Rolling Ball Pens, 0.5mm, Assorted Colors, 8 Count (11890) - - There is no use for the yellow. It doesn't even make sense to have this color. The rest are good and they write nicely and don't tend to leak through papers for the most part. The retractable feature is nice and convenient.
