Looks quite nice--not just cheap plastic but has some edging to the bottom.I was surprised that the shape is not a true rectangle with 3 square sections. The outer 2 sections curve in at the end but aren't totally rounded. This limits the width of items for the end sections, but for makeup brushes and such is no problem. The interior of the middle section is a 2.5" square. The end sections narrow to an interior width of 1-7/8".Fits in my rather narrow medicine cabinet on the wall to hide toiletry and make-up items and keep them away from splashes on the sink counter. I may order a second one to hold other items. Keeps things organized.
