6th grade Math Workbook: CommonCore Math Workbook

This workbook follows the 6th grade math lessons in the homeschool curriculum we use. I tear the work sheets out of the book for practice use. The problems are not too simplistic. I have found this to be the most useful of practice workbooks I have.

Perfect for my grandbabies

I am a grandmother, who is helping her grandson in sixth grade to improve his math grades. The page # of the answer key in the back of the book is not identified with each question.Therefore, I spend an inordinate amount of time trying find and affirm the correct answer.

I hardly write online reviews but this book which just came in today is awesome! I love the comprehensive contents that is well aligned with common core standard at 6th grade level. Also, the way the book is well organized with plenty of variety of questions including problem-solving word problems, true false and multiple choices ended with two 45-comprehensive assessments to prep for the standardized tests!

I was so excited about this math workbook but it does not teach anything and it is very difficult to check answers because there are no pages or lessons referenced in the answer section. There are a ton of problems in one chapter and to match the problem you are on with the answer in the back takes five minutes just to find it! The problems are hard and even most answers don’t explain the problem. I wish each chapter started w a formula or lesson - they don’t. I have had to watch YouTube videos w my kid to learn how to do the work. The problems are hard so it is good but also frustrating.

We bought this for our 5th grader. It clearly differentiates itself from other workbooks available in stores. Covers all topics within the common core curriculum. Questions are well organized and concepts are extremely well highlighted for students to follow and understand them independently. Question formats are not repeated so the child is constantly interested as he/she progresses through each topic/chapter.I would highly recommend this workboon for your child.

This works as extra practice - if there is a qualified adult around who can quickly decided if the student is stuck with math, or if the problem is broken.But most of the problems are usable, and the broken ones help the learner with extra understanding (again, if there is someone who can help). I ask my child to explain how the problem is broken...But the number of broken problems is truly shocking. Ace Academic didn't properly proof-read and edit this book. All it would take is for one person with 7th grade or better math skills to solve each example and point out the mistakes.I can't submit images right now of the broken problems, but other people have. They include geometry problems with shapes that are impossible. Stats graphs that don't reflect any of the suggested answers, mislabeled graphs, simple problems with overly complex solutions, simple problems with wrong answers, etc.
