OK not to sound too cliché but I don't write reviews like ever. OK now that's out of the way let's run it down. This stuff is a miracle. I heard about it, saw it, read reviews and hesitated I'll admit. I was like putty....blech...I have mixed skin which if you know you know. It's where your skin is dry in patches but then has the Exon oil run off flowing free in others. So yeah you need that moisturizer, but guess what buddy you're welcoming the pimple band to play all day in return. Oh your skin is oily, well that made for oily skin product is gonna get cakey in an hour and you're gonna have dry cracked scales like a serpent succubus. It's a hard thing to balance out and the thought of something thick laying on my face before I put on makeup was a full stop "oh hell no" moment. However one of my friends swears by it and she always looks like she woke up with a damn snap chat filter stapled to her face so I figured what the hey its a cheap price and I've definitely spent way more trying to figure out how to work this face why not give it a whirl. WELL LET ME TELL YOU GOOD PEEPS. This stuff is amaze balls. It comes in a tub and looks thick or pasty but looks are deceiving in this tiny tub of angel kisses. When you touch it turns into a smooth and light texture almost like a gel lotion but it's not. It goes on so smooth and you don't need alot but has a consistency that allows you to layer/build as needed. I actually saw my pores disappear and my texture was velvety without feeling oily and/or sticky which I've found some primers made for mixed skin do. The color in the tub is a slight rose color but on your skin doesn't leave a tinted pigment BUT DID even out some of my redness or discoloration caused by past acne ( the pimple band likes to leave its marks my friends). My foundation went on smoothly and I found I need to dab less to blend with the trusty blending egg then without this tub of magic. My makeup stayed on longer than all day in perfect condition. No lie. I work in a medical setting AND then bartend at night and apart from my dead inside eyes when I looked in the mirror my makeup was damn flawless. Trust me when I say to you just get the dang thing. For this price and the amount you get it's well worth it.

After hearing so many people brag about this primer, I decided to try it. I have been using the power grip for years and I love most of my e.l.f products. I find it easiest to apply the primer with your fingers, too difficult to control amount on a brush .The primer goes on smooth and feels nice on the face. My makeup is easy to apply .However, after just two hours, my face does feels a little greasy and my makeup doles not look as fresh. I live in Florida, and the weather is already hot. I went back to my Power Grip for now. (the best). I think this primer will work better in cooler months or when I am in a cooler environment,

I love this stuff. You know when people are asked, if you were on a deserted island what product would you take? Yeah, it would be in the running. Large pores disappear. Foundation goes on smooth. Cant ask for anything more from it.

Although I read very high reviews on this product before I purchased it, I was not all that impressed. It does hold make up in place for quite awhile, however as far was pore coverage it was average.

This is my go to primer when I am having breakouts, it makes my skin even and I love the finish, I repurchase at least once every 6 months!

This is a nice, slightly tinted primer. I don't like to wear foundation in the hot months, so have tried different primers out. I have oily skin, so it can be hard to find one that doesn't leave me looking greasy. It spreads easy and after it absorbs, it has a decent matte finish and leaves the skin soft. A good substitute when skipping foundation.

This consistency is thick but makes the base very smooth so the makeup can easily glide on on the skin and minimize the appearance of pores.add a grilling primer too or finish the make up with setting spray when done so the makeup won’t smudge around
