Deceptive description.
Reading the description one would think that this unit provides ether 5 or 1O volt excitation voltage.I could not find anywhere in the entire posting where to select the option of 5 or 10-volt excitation. What you will get if you order this part is 10-volts excitation. If you contact the factory they will provide a link to the 5-volt version through a source other than Amazon at $14.19 higher price. This is a good device with deceptive verbiage in their description. If you are skilled then excitation voltage regulator can be switched to an L7805. It is available in a TO-220 or surface mount device.

Good purchase
It's a nice product, but the sensetivity is low, it didn't work on small load cell

Bad temperature drift.
This load cell transmitter has very bad temperature-induced zero drift. I used it with a 20lb load cell and the drift was over 3 lbs from 18C to 22C. It uses a TL064C Operational Amplifier. The plastic enclosure was well made.I tried 3 units and they were all the same.

Mine wasn't functional
I connected this up to a working load cell and all I got out was a constant voltage. Tried a few combinations of things and got the same results every time. It's always possible that it's something that I'm doing wrong but after several times checking the circuit I'm pretty sure I have it wired up correctly.

MOSFET burns out
I've had two of these and they worked great...for a few months. I supplied just under 24V to the unit (which is the operating voltage), and the MOSFET would run very hot and eventually it burned out about 3 months later. I'm using it with 4 load cells. It's possible the current is too high for the MOSFET in my application.
