Works perfectly and bright -- upgraded brake lights to led bulbs in a classic 1950s Ford
Installed these LED bulbs for rear brake/turn signal lights, to replace original bulbs in a classic 1956 Ford, behind a red plastic lens. Used the red led versions of these along with upgrading an original mechanical flasher to an electronic flasher. Bulbs, with electronic flasher, work perfectly as two-stage parking/brake light and turn-signal flasher bulbs. They are easily 300% brighter than original bulbs. Huge safety improvement. I tired, for comparison, both the clear version and red version of this bulb, behind the red plastic lens. While it sounds counter-intuitive, I read from some manufacturer recommendations to use red led behind red lens, even though a white led has more lumens and one would think it would be brighter --that is not the case. The red leds are much brighter behind a red lens. And the bulbs fit and have a shape almost identical to the OEM, behind the lens. I like these much better than the older/original generations of led bulbs where the led pucks are visible and uncovered -- these are well integrated into a shape more like oem, and protected under plastic cover.

Want to be seen?
I bought this for my motorcycle, a Moto Guzzi California 1400 Eldorado. The stock standard bulb was OK at best. My wife was following me in her car one day and she told me the light seemed dim and she could barely see the light. I replaced the stock bulb with this and I will say it's ABSOLUTELY bright. In this photo you can see how nice and bright this light is. You can see my tail light even on a bright sunny day. It's most useful at night. Being seen is critical when riding motorcycles and this bulb delivers. The fitment is excellent with zero issues with installing the bulb. The quality of the bulb itself is top notch and very well made. Zero flickering or issues on the dash with warning lights.

Great backup/reverse bulbs for 2014 Nissan Versa Note!
I had replaced all the bulbs in my mom's car with LED's, and I wanted to do the reverse lights too. These are nice and bright and they illuminate behind you in the dark a lot better than the regular bulbs. I'll be installing a backup camera soon, and these will help to illuminate the camera view at night. The lenses on the tips of the bulbs help to project the light outwards through the lamp housings. I used this same brand, but a different bulb size on my girlfriend's car too.

These are CRAZY bright!
Replaced my incandescent backup light with these and the difference is amazing! Went from "Yeah, they are reverse lights" to "Wow, I can actually see back there!" You won't regret putting these in your own car.

Very Bright
Very bright on low power. Could appear as the brake lights are on. May not be suitable for a car. I am using them on a motorcycle and I want to be noticed. They do get brighter when you apply the brakes which is what you want.

They work, they're bright, and a decent deal.
Installed in Kia Rio brake light position with no issues. I don't believe this car does any fancy bulb detection over CAN, but if it does this one is compatible as there are no warnings about a brake light out. Much brighter than the standard incandescant bulbs it had, even in bright daylight. If your vehicle has red lenses like this one does, you can use a white LED, which generally are brighter than red ones, but obviously if the lamp cover is clear you would have to use a red bulb. So far, this one does not seem to get too hot and melt the socket like I've had some of these smaller LED replacements do in the past, but maybe that's just due to LED technology getting better in general. Overall I'd say this is a great value, considering an equivalent 1157 LED from local stores are $20-$40. If they die in a couple months, I may have to revise my opinion, but I've mostly found LEDs in general have a much longer lifetime.

Key fob transmitter not working after installation
Lights are great and very bright, no issues. However I did notice when I leave my 2005 GX470 and attempt to lock the vehicle, still with the lights on, with my key remote, it does not lock at all or unlock. I've read that some LED lights can disrupt the key fob transmitter. After turning the lights off, the key fob remote works normally. A small trade off if anyone is looking to upgrade their GX470 lights with LEDs, just gotta turn off the lights before exiting the vehicle.
