So easy to use and great for more than just cameras
I just put in an order for more of these. I used one for a camera and mounted it on a tree branch. I like the fact that these just screw into the back of the camera and allow you to use any skin you want. So I used a camouflage cover for the one in the tree. I also discovered that the screw on the base is universal and worked just fine on the 3rd party solar panels I bought. So I set up one solar panel on the base like a typical tripod (not bending or shaping the base's legs at all, just spreading them so that the solar panel pointed up at the sun.) The other solar panel is mounted at the base of one of our house-mounted exterior lanterns. The twisting legs are able to really make the mounting feel secure.I did have one issue at first where I was really playing around with the legs of the first base I'd unpacked. One of the three legs detached and came out. I just used some of my E6000 glue (a very secure glue I always have on hand) and shoved it back in there. After that I didn't treat it quite like a toy and that's the only leg that has detached on me.

These are pretty darn cool!
I track wildlife and neighborhood cats through several cameras on my property (yes, I know, sounds weird, but I do cat TNR so I need to know who's new and not spayed or neutered). It's been a challenge on how to place/set my cameras so they stay put and don't get knocked over by a raccoon or fox, but these fit the bill nicely. I can wrap them around the iron railing I have running to the backyard or wrap them around/over a fence post and I get a MUCH better view of the critters than just setting them on the ground or trying to mount them in some other way.I had another brand that had just one "leg" that was considerably thicker and was actually quite difficult to reshape. Plus, there were limitations on where I could use it, since it only had the one "leg." These are nice, having the three legs AND they're waaaaay easier to manipulate into the shape I need.Good buy.

Good buy
I love these! You can screw anything into them that has a little receiver for it. I use it for security cameras, lights, and my old point and shoot camera (on occasion).Once you position them, they are pretty solid. Shipped on time. Good buy

Worthless
I tried using these with my Arlo Pro cameras, and although the flexible cables work fine to affix the camera to an object, the screw threads are either defective or not compatible with Arlo Pro. You can't tighten the camera to the mount screw - the camera just spins round and round. I tried three different cameras, all of which I have NEVER used the screw mount holes in the back - I have always used magnetic mounts. So, it's not like the threads in the screw mount holes in my cameras are worn out. I tried to wrap some electrical tap around the screw post on the mount, to make it thicker, but that was a poor fix and not reliable. I went and bought mounts that really work... these are worthless...

Inferior gluing
Very poor construction. The legs comes off the base tripod. Cheap chinese labor at its finest. I had to re-glue the legs with Made in the USA adhesive to enjoy this product !
