3M Tegaderm Transparent Film Dressing, Picture Frame Style, with Label, 2-3/8" x 2-3/4" - Pack of 20

We got these to put over the Libre-3 Sensor on a patient's arm after two or three of them came loose. They are pretty inexpensive and work almost perfectly for the purpose for which we got them. I say "almost" perfectly because the patient in question has Alzheimer's and is a "picker" -- picks at and rubs their arm skin (for example) unconsciously and sometimes goes as high as the location of the Libre-3 sensor on their arm. I'm aware that this is a very specialized purpose and the fact that it works for this in our situation doesn't mean it will work for what you're considering it for. But it also works to keep IV lines in place -- its basic purpose I think -- so, FWIW, it's pretty reliable, I'd think, for most "help secure something to the skin" purposes.

I have tried a ton of different products trying to mitigate the horrible skin rash/damage that comes from wearing a Dexcom CGM for 10 days. Not even the ones made especially for CGMs are good for my skin. But these cause the least irritation and my skin heals much faster after wearing this under the sensor for 10+ days. Also holds up very well the entire time and does not peel. Easy to get off too. Can’t go without.

I have had to "waste" several medication patches recently because they have come off prematurely. It is really annoying because it means that I end up paying more to get replacement patches. My doctor suggested I try a tegaderm patch over the medication patch so I bought these. So far, I'm quite happy with it -- I bought the smallest size I could find that would fit over my medication patch. It sticks REALLY well. The only problem I had was putting it on -- my medication patch has to be put on my, um, butt - so it is kind of awkward putting the tegaderm patch on so that it covers the clear (and hard to see) medication patch. But, that isn't the tegaderm patch's fault - and hopefully it will become easier over time.
