Fantastic iron cast
Absolutely fantastic quality! They arrived pre seasoned but I seasoned them anyway, works fantastic, nothing sticks, perfect for steaks as heat is equally distributed, but also great for anything else. Mind that it's not for people who don't have enough time to take care of pans after cooking, they need to be dry out completely and rub with oil after use but it's definitely worth spending 5 extra min. Also very smart design, love the fact that pan can work as a lid as well and price is fantastic.Recommended!

A Must-Have in Every Kitchen – Kichly Cast Iron Utensils
I’ve been using Kichly cast iron utensils for the past 7 months, and I can confidently say they’ve completely transformed my cooking experience. Whether it’s biryani, bread, pasta, Indian curries, dosas, crepes, or even baking – these versatile pans and pots handle everything with ease. They've truly become a staple in my daily kitchen routine. What sets them apart is not just their versatility, but the added health benefit – they naturally infuse iron into your food, which is great for anyone mindful of their nutritional intake. The heat retention and even heat distribution ensure consistently delicious results.Like all quality cast iron cookware, these require a bit of maintenance. After each use, I wash, dry, and grease them lightly with oil while still warm. This helps maintain their seasoning and prevents rusting. Some users may notice a black residue during oiling – but rest assured, that’s completely normal and part of the seasoning process. With regular use and proper care, the utensils only improve over time. Also, adjusting the cooking temperature properly helps make the surface beautifully nonstick. If you’re looking for durable, high-performance cookware that’s both functional and health-conscious, I highly recommend Kichly cast iron utensils. With just a little care, they’ll reward you with a lifetime of satisfying cooking.

Brilliant, Solid product as expected
Great product at good price but you need to buy heat protectors to handle item. Should come as a package? Although pre-seasoned, you need to carry out your own seasoning process (plenty on YouTube). This will save you time time and give lots of trouble free use in future.

Great set of pans. Have used them for almost everything I've cooked and they do a great job. Getting smoother now as well. No problems with them. Love em.

Careful with the 'seasoning' treatment
This cast iron skillet (because that's what it is) redefines "rough cast", the interior being sandpaperlike and the lid having a finish that resembles a lunar surface. It's so rough that it left scratch marks when nudged out of the way on a crowded worktop. Then there's the "coating" or "pre-seasoning" this item boasts. In reality it seems to be a thick tar-like substance that appears to have been daubed on after casting. Being of a suspicious nature, I decided to clean it off an season the pan in the traditional way and, to my horror, what came off was a foul, black residue that permanently stained a scouring pad and a dishcloth. I'm glad I didnlt try cooking in THAT stuff! So, to summarise - low quality, poor finish and unlikely to ever be non-stick. Mine's going to the next jumble sale.

Great value cast iron dutch oven
It's not perfect, but for the money it's very good value.... read on:The good.Solidly made from mildly textured iron. The lid fits well and the whole unit holds the heat very effectively.Bought for baking bread, I've done several loaves now and they all came out just as hoped for, with good oven spring, nice soft open crumb and a great crust. When seasoned it seems to keep the non-stick surface well. The less good.On first wash before using I could smell the raw iron coming through as it got wet. Therefore I immediately covered the metal surfaces with a light coating of ground nut oil and popped it in the oven at max - 230'C - for over an hour before baking the first loaf. I would advise any purchasers to do the same and ignore the pre-seasoning,The textured surface could be a little smoother, and although it's not very rough, it isn't smooth either. For the money it's great, does exactly what's needed.

Great multipurpose pans, Dutch oven.
I bought this for using in the oven to make sourdough bread. It does the job perfectly. I picked this particular cast iron pan as it has more uses than just making sourdough. I already have casserole dishes aplenty that I could have tried. This however splits into two pans to be used on the hob. I do not like items that only have a single purpose unless it's an item I'd use very frequently.
