***I have been a professional Voiceover Artist for over 6 years & with my experience I want to leave an honest review for this product, because there are tons of scammed/cheap products on the market, promising you sound-proofing & absorbtion.For this low price & value for money, you don't need to spend all kinds of money soundproofing your home studio for professional recording Products!*The foam on the inside of this product has a dense quality thickness, unlike all of the cheap foam wall panels that you would waste your money on, potentially messing up the thin foam wall panels if you were ever needing to move them around. Plus, unless you spend the big bucks, don't waste time searching for Wall panels for vocal recording of any kind.*I love that all parts of the back wall of this product can be specifically adjusted to your wanting & even easily tightened at each top notch by using the included small allen wrench!*To top it off, what makes this product even more versatile, is that you can either mount it on a mic stand, adjusted to your height or just set it on a table if you want great voice sound quality for Podcasting, Speaking, or singing. The bottom of this product has pieces that make it even & it doesn't move easy on a table, so you won't have to worry about avoiding am accidental touch with your hands or face while recording your voice.I HIGHLY recommend this product for those who seek HIGH QUALITY recordings of your voice, with no outside noise being present.

ill start with saying this is a great shield. I like how you and shape it to fit your needs. Where this falls short in my opinion - they didnt think it through for the mic owner who top mount their mics. because of the design the shield would have to be mounted upside down and there is a bar that would get in the way, makes it inconvenient and you have to find clever workaround’s to get the job done.

It's too short if you need to have your computer in front of you while recording at a desk. If it were 18" high, that would be perfect for me, so I'm buying upholstery foam and making my own sound booth with a top as well.

Excellent isolation shield, especially for the price.First, the one major CON: It's bulky, but that's to be expected considering the thickness of foam required. Don't expect to use it on top of a cheap, lightweight stand or desk arm, though - it's much too heavy for that. Instead, expect for it to occupy a decent amount of your desk or other surface. The bulk remains large even when it's folded.However, the PROS make up for the bulk! The sound isolation is excellent - I teach online and my students no longer complain about hearing the ridiculously loud lawn crew my condo employs. As long as you have this between your microphone and the source of noise you're trying to avoid, you should have excellent results! The bulk was necessary for this. It's also great for reducing sound bounce back from walls, thus improving quality further. Finally, it is large enough to fit around the Blue Snowball.Overall, this was an excellent purchase for working (and teaching) from home!
