Bought it as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it! Packaging was great and shipping was fast! Works great and was easy to set up. Boyfriend says the scanner quality is great and he loves the Bluetooth feature that allows him to move around the vehicles while using the scanner. Overall was a great buy at a great price!

I’ve been wanting a scan tool for the longest time since leaving the dealership technician life. I’ve wanted something that could do more than just read and clear codes but not necessarily do everything under the sun. This hits the mark well as a mid level scan tool with bidirectional controls and system services (fuel trim relearn, epb maintenance mode, etc) along with a preset parameters option to help diagnose ignition, o2 sensors, etc. it has the ability to be upgraded more to program keys, use oscilloscopes, and other scan tool tools. It connects fairly quick and I would say it’s a good value for capabilities. It takes a bit to update when first opened out of the box but after all the updates it works very well. Would recommend and purchase again

I purchased a MaxiM IM508 and was so impressed with the ease of use and online tutorials/documentation for it that when it came to purchasing a bidirectional scan tool, Autel was my only choice. It has proven to be a great purchase and I am more impressed with Autel every time I use it. It is obvious that Autel knows how to produce a bidirectional scan tool that gets anything done you want done and more. It has proven to be invaluable on BMWs and Mercedes especially but it the best choice for any make/model.

I had this for a couple of months, the operating system is super slow! Waiting for it to boot up or do anything was annoying. Also found out that you won’t be able to update it because they were sued by Snap-On for stealing their software. It’s neat and has some more features than my snap-on solus and at a way better price, but you get what you pay for I guess. Also didn’t care for the user interface. I found it confusing.

Excellent diag tool for any mechanic or technician i wish that it came with a feathered vc as well as the blue tooth but convenient to use. Worked amazing for 9 months and the touch screen went out. In the process of getting it fixed i can't wait.
