So much fun!
Easy to use and the kids loved it! We’ve been able to use it many times and have tried lots of the recipes. They turn out great every time and the kids enjoy the “experiment”

Great Concept
Love the concept. Package it came in is great. When finished you can store it in the box. The experiment / recipe book is well done. What I feel needs to be improved is the length of the whisk. The whisk is too short once all the ingredients are placed in the ice cream container. Also the measuring cup was cracked on the bottom. The milk started leaking out of the bottom. My six year old grandchild thought that was funny. My grandchild was happy that he could share hishomemade ice cream with his family.

If Good Eats made a kit for kids
I thought this was going to be a basic ice cream kit, but was surprised to see the extra cans that came in this pack. There’s a large can for ice cream, but also 2 smaller containers that let the kids do controlled experiments so they can see how air, fat, and stabilizers change the ice cream. My son enjoyed reading the instruction booklet which had clear instructions, graphics, and interesting facts. As an Alton Brown fan, it’s like a Good Eats kit for kids.Worth noting that this kit does NOT include any food ingredients and you will need some additional kitchen equipment like microwave safe bowls to heat some cream cheese and your own storage containers for the ice cream. We only did a few of the experiments so far, but the quality of the materials provided looks like it will be durable enough to be reused for more ice cream concoctions.
