Economical blade

Worked just as well as higher priced blades. Will definitely repurchase in the future.

This Cat's Meow

In order to keep all the blades to myself, I ought to report that they're terrible. The fact is I absolutely love the QEP 6-7001Q, and have since ordered three more. The narrower kerf saves material, makes better use of the saw's power, and cuts faster because of the higher contact force. The price is great, the quality is excellent, the blade wears well - what's not to like?? As for the brass adapter ring, I haven't had the slightest problem with it. It stays in place and the blade was perfectly balanced from the get-go. Note: I use this saw for cutting various types of quartz for lapidary purposes.

Doesn't make a perfectly clean cut on porcelain but it's 1/4 the price

Doesn't make a perfectly clean cut on porcelain but it's 1/4 the price of a tile blade at the local big box store

Photo of blade hole is wrong, but the adaptor works!

The photo of the blade shows the wrong center hole shape, (probably why its 25% off right now) but it comes with an adapter to fix the problem. Its a small metal ring with ridges so dont lose it when you open the package. It fits, trust me. It takes some muscle and a flat, hard surface to force the adapter in, but it works perfect once you've got it in there. Ive already cut many agates, jaspers, granite, etc. with it and couldn't be happier for the price paid. If you need a cheap way to cut stones/rocks with your tile saw, this will do the job just fine.

The center ring is an adapter that can be reinstalled if it falls out

The media could not be loaded. A lot of one-star reviews here are saying that the adapter for the arbor is falling out of the diamond hole making the blade useless. This is just a standard adapter used to accommodate a larger (7/8") arbor. If the adapter falls out it is easy to put it back in to the blade. Just line it up and carefully tap it back into place with the hammer. Lots of saw blades use the same system to make the blades more universally usable. Many name brand saw blades, including DeWalt, Ridgid, Skil, etc. Have the same setup. The adapter is purely for centering the blade on the arbor, the washer clamp is then applied to lock the blade into rotation with the motor.

Chips porcelain tile

This blade tool chips out along every single cut across many porcelain tiles. I used it in a wet tile sat and tried many differing ways to get it to work. I highly recommend AGAINST buying this.
