The Ultra light backpacking guys say to forget about wearing deo because it’s too heavy to carry... screw that, there’s way too many beautiful women on the trail to smell bad!! Especially to save an ounce!? So, here’s what I did.. you know the deo that’s left in the regular screw up container at the end that you can’t use without scraping the hell out of your pits?! I took two old deos and put them in a glass container upside down then put them in the microwave for a few seconds.. they melted and I poured the liquid deo into one of these containers and then put it in the fridge for a little bit. Seriously, two min of work, approx 1 ounce total weight and I didn’t have to shy away from ppl in camp:)

My favorite natural deodorant doesn't come in travel size and I'm tired of having to put a giant stick of something I won't use all of in my plastic quart sized baggy when I travel. These solve that issue! My Tom's deodorant melted down beautifully in the microwave and these molds were the perfect recepticle. The lids snap on in a satisfying way and they roll up nicely. I wouldn't use them for lip balm though, as they are super wide and you'd only need to use the very edge of the lip balm to get your whole lip.
