Good quality replacement kit
I bought this to replace one of my grandson's tent poles which had a small split in it. It was easy to cut each section to the correct size, and thread up to the correct tension with the bungy cord - the 15-year-old was able to manage this himself (using my tools). Good solid piece of kit that was not expensive..

Reasonable for the price
Delivery took nearly 2 weeks. I needed to replace a few sections in two tent poles so not enough elastic for my needs, would have been fine if only replacing one pole. If you cut it keep turning it so the junior hacksaw blade always cuts the edge, if I cut it without turning it splits, don't breathe the dust that occurs when you cut - wear a mask ( I cut it slowly and captured the dust in a plastic tub)

Ideal replacement
Ideal replacement for poles which had become unusable. Easy to use and great value.

No instructions. End ferrules too short.
No instructions included. Although it's not overly difficult to assemble, some help wouldn't go amiss!Put elastic through poles easily enough, but trying to work out how to make the end ferrules work was difficult.Once the ferrule is on the pole, a knot is needed to keep the elastic in place. But once the elastic has a knot in it, there is only a fraction of space left at the end of the ferrule to go over the little metal spike on the tent, certainly not enough to make me feel it would have a chance of staying on!Of course, there were no instructions to tell me if I was doing it correctly, but I couldn't see any other way!I ended up knotting the elastic at the end of the pole, then attaching the ferrule with a filler/glue material, and covering with duct tape for good measure.Probably won't use the tent until next year to see whether it will all work, so fingers crossed.

Great repair system
Just what it says on the can, a set of poles that need to be cut to size with a junior hacksaw then swap out the broken poles with the replacement. The wire elastic threaded is indispensable when 're threading the elastic, there's even a new elastic if the originals perished.A great little repair kit.
