Yes a little flimsy but it does the job. Easy to clean and mashes well. What more could you ask for. Yes it is plastic but it is sturdy enough for the job it has to do.

Absolutely unfit for purpose, metal so soft it bent while mashing the first potato rendering it useless so it went straight into the bin. Don’t waste your time

This range of kitchen utensils from Fackelmann are relatively cheap and cheerful. Most of the range that I've tried have been perfectly good for the money, but this one is a bit of a weak link in the chain.It does function as a potato masher. But it's extremely flimsy. The handle and shaft of the masher are OK, but the head is made from super-thin aluminium. It bends as you use it. If you're a particularly frenzied masher of spuds, you could quite easily bend this one completely out of shape. As another reviewer has mentioned here, the thin aluminium is also quite sharp on a few of the edges.It's OK for a cheap masher, but if you're looking for something a bit sturdier I'd look elsewhere.

Broke after using it five times. A waste of money!

It bented,when l was mashing my spuds. I straighten it back. Try with boild eggs. It went bent again. Not happy
