This is the second ninja blender I've brought.First one was for myself, missus kept stealing it so I brought her one.Really good machine.I normally do a breakfast smoothie with oats, only thing I'll say is I tend to lean the first couple of blends as blades can get stuck.Owned for around 5 months now and can honestly say they both get used most days.Highly recommend

I wanted to leave a long term review a stgese I find are more valuable to a future purchaser than just after unboxing.I was very surprised at the power of the unit as soon as I bought it. I have a mains powered Kenwood and was not expecting this device to blend frozen fruit without issue. It did, no problem.I bought this to take abroad and it worked really well. I always use frozen fruit which is a real test for a blender and I did find that after 6m or so I needed to ensure the battery was charged between blends as sometimes I need to blend twice and then I blend soap and water to clean, after 3-6 blends I see the red light come on so I charge after each blend.Unfortunately today, exactly 12m after purchase the blade screw snapped and the blender will not function properly. I called Ninja, who ran me through the registration process and immediately ordered a replacement device that is on its way to me.I wanted to share that as customer service like this is rare and very welcome. I've had some other Ninja/Shark devices, non have failed but this has given me some confidence in customer service should I need them in the future.

Having already owned one of these blenders for a while it was a no brainer to get a second when my partner needed to blend her own things. Won't go into great detail on what it can do & how it does it as plenty of other reviews & provided info can tell you that. I must say that I personally love my blender & use it everyday it's so easy to use. The blend quality is always good.This model is a great colour to.

My mother bought one of these blenders as she likes making her coffee shakes and as I'm someone who's always on the go, I thought I would give this blender a try as I'm always spending more on breakfasts at the train station.Initial thoughts was that this blender works brilliantly, however after putting frozen pieces of fruit in with milk, the orange light comes up a lot, meaning the blades won't spin due to something preventing it. A minor fault, perhaps the torque of the engine isn't strong enough for such a small device, however, a slight compromise is needed. I just put a handful of the frozen fruit in a bowl and leave in the fridge overnight, so that in the morning they're soft enough to blend with the milk and banana.Also to note, I add a cup of protein powder in with each blend, it can become a bit claggy, so give it a shake before blending again for a second time. Only then does it come out smooth.A good device, if you spend some time compromising how you intend on using it.

I love it! I wish I’d not put off buying it tbh.I make a protein drink, add a banana, and its all smooth. No bits at all, which is amazing considering the protein drink has loads of little pieces of nuts in it, that drove me mad! Even when I forget and whizz it up after adding the banana, they’re gone! The power lasts through 3 cycles, and then I charge it before it runs out.I love it!I clean it by cycling warm water and washing up liquid through it, and it cleans it really well. The lid needs to be cleaned around the threads by hand. When its charging, I put the protector on it and put the lid and cup through the dishwasher. I love it! Really happy with my purchase! 5*****

I am doing a health kick & did a lot of homework into a smoothie maker and this one kept coming up on the top of every bloggers list and review site I looked at so thought I was in for a sure winner.Sadly I will be returning this to Amazon due to poor battery & performance.Arrived next day as expected. I ordered the purple which looks smart.I brought frozen fruit on our shop just for this smoothie maker.I followed the instructions with liquid then fruit and turn on.It didn’t break down the pineapple very well at all I had to keep stopping and checking and getting a spoon in to this to move the lumps around to then start the mixing yet again. It felt like forever it was several minutes.I found the power very disappointing indeed I could see it trying but it just couldn’t get do it in one go.So I left it a few days then tried again this time with no frozen pineapple this time I used frozen berries with fresh apples and turned it on and it couldn’t break down the skin on the apple, I read different blogs that one said skin is fine & isn’t an issue for this machine and others that said it doesn’t work with skin on the apple so I had to try! Sadly it left it tasting very gritty and kept getting caught in my throat.Now while I was doing this second smoothie the battery died about 30 seconds into it! I had only done one proper smoothie this was my second try and already the battery has died!For Ninja this is very bad indeed. My friend has a no name brand and yes hers struggles with frozen pineapple as well but the battery lasts her a fair few days and it is a similar price to this one but performs better which should not happen.The size is a bit small you cannot add much liquid which I feel adds to the issues of poor blending.I doubt I would use this brand again. Something as simple as a smoothie blender like this should be a high standard of battery and blending quality. Ninja have failed big time.

This is a nice little blender and is ideal for making single smoothies. It’s great with fresh products but can sometimes struggle with frozen items. I have found the solution to this is to slightly thaw the frozen then it blends seamlessly.

Great little blender. I hoped the cup would seperate from the blender but it is one piece.Works well does exactly what it’s supposed to. Great portability.
