Sounds better than I expected for a device this size (the length of my hand -- palm plus fingers -- from side to side). Pulls and locks in FM stations far better than radios I've used in the past. Looks stylish too -- very clean and sophisticated; I'd admire it if I saw it out in public. The controls don't feel quite as solid as the ones on vintage radios, but they're not flimsy either, so with gentle use, they should last a long time. I had it up and running in minutes without even reading the manual. The digital clock is as easy to set as the ones on a microwave oven.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was looking for a compact radio to put in the rv and this was my styleSound quality:Surprisingly, this little radio has a wonderful sound! Very easy to listen to. Battery life:I wish the battery life was a little longer but it's nice that I can plug it in when I need to. I did play it a lot and the batteries only lasted about a week. Value for money:I think the value was on point.

A simple radio. Works on batteries or plug in. Nice digital display of time and channels. You have to turn a dial to desired channels. There is no scan and cannot save multiple channels. It does save the last channel used on AM and FM. I can’t get anything on SW. It works as advertised and is inexpensive. I use it in a bathroom when getting dressed and listen to news on AM or switch to FM for music. This fits my needs. Sound is ok. Some minimal static on AM. FM clear signal.

Sound is clear; digital tuning makes it easy to find station. I was looking for a small radio, a battery operated and DC also that would fit in my kitchen window to replace a small transistor ive had for years ...this one fit the bill!

This radio is capable of receiving solid FM broadcasts with a telescoping antenna. I have not tried the AM or Short Wave modes, but the reception is solid for FM radio signal reception. The radio is physically sturdy and appears rather durable . Excellent sound quality for the size of the device. It's not stereo quality and it won't be without stereo quality speakers, but it does have a headphone port and if one has high-quality earbuds or headphones such could likely be replicated. I have only used the AC power source, but it is shipped with batteries included. The radio is compact and can be taken practically anywhere. Most impressive is the quality of the digital tuner capable of picking up exact radio signals. For a radio that is meant to look retro it has incredible precision. Overall, this is a solid portable radio. It won't replace the sound quality of a high-end speaker system, but in terms of being able to receive a signal and relay it with its sound system, that it can do and that it can do well.

It’s old school but I love it, I leave it on out in my shop 24/7 for the critters and I can hear it just fine on my patio. Worth the $$

I bought this to replace an old 1990s Timex clock radio in our bathroom. We like to listen to the AM news radio stations in the morning so needed something to replace the Timex, which gave up the ghost after 30 years of service. Likely, caps went bad but I wasn't going to go through a $20 radio to fix 'em.This model's radio has poor signal selectivity on all bands. Where the Timex would pull in AM stations noise-free, this radio tends to pick up the station, nearby cell phone harmonics, bad LED bulb harmonics, and Uncle Ted's stray thoughts. It makes listening less enjoyable that it should be.After about a year in a humid bathroom, the power/volume knob has gone wonky. You have to fiddle to get the radio to turn on. The power switch likely needs to be cleaned and lubed as its likely got some corrosion on the contacts from the shower-humid air.

This is a small and light clock radio. Works well, and I like the large buttons which set the station and volume and the illuminated numbers. However, I wish they stayed fully illuminated the entire time. The radio has a slight tinny sound, but I now have a radio that is portable. Overall, a good purchase
