Cheap and chemical free pest control
Ordered for an upcoming camping trip with my family. Decided to test it out in our home after an invasion of fruit flys. Left it over night and discovered 6 flys in the container in the morning and no more flys in the house.Pros:-Over all construction appears to be well made and not too heavy to where it would be difficult to hang.-Product is easy to use; literally unbox and plug in.-There are two different options for pest attraction; light or utilizing the bait trap at the bottom of the product.-This product is quite versatile due to the options of indoor and outdoor use.-Cleaning the trap is as simple as a quarter turn at the bottom of the trap, dump the catch basin and return to the base of the trap.-Multiple methods of deployment; hanging from the ring located on top of the trap or standing it upright on the sturdy base of the product.Cons:-limited with outdoor use due to the requirement of a wall outlet.-Trap works best in a dark environment where insects won’t be “distracted” by other lights.-A bit unsightly for indoor use unless your into that Louisiana bayou feelI believe the pros far outweigh the cons and I definitely recommend this product for cheap chemical free pest control use.

The Best Mosquito is a Dead Mosquito!
I opened the box and was surprised the zapper was so lightweight, and wondered if a wind gust would blow it over. It was also smaller than I anticipated, and I began to doubt that it would withstand the invasion of mosquitos on my front porch. I read about the technology, but I don't care about how it works, just that it does work! I plugged it in before I had a hook installed to hang it from. I doubted it would work in the afternoon, thinking it needed to be dark to attract the darn bugs. I was delighted when I heard about 10 zaps before I could get it situated and head for my front door. I don't need to fear opening the door to let guests inside any more. I think life will be more pleasant going forward-- and the mosquitos need to pass the word that my front porch is no longer their private homestead!

LED works to attract moths - haven't noticed it attracting flies or mosquitos... yet.
Item: Buzbug LED Bug Zapper... MO008CSeller: Amazei AmericaTl;Dr: Attracts bugs with LED bulb, and explodes 'em.If you have "good" insects (bees, ladybugs, dragonflies, etc that act as either pollinators or prey on pests) than you should probably look at using a different method of pest control since bug zappers are pretty indiscriminate. Also, zapping bugs tends to explode them, so although the item is described as okay for indoor uses - unless you plan on breathing in aerosolized bugs and cleaning the splatter, I'd avoid it.I'm hoping to take out the mosquito and flies in my backyard, and don't want to deal with the pain of having to replace the fluorescent bulbs which led me to searching for one that used LEDs instead. I've only run it at night and so far it hasn't gotten the bugs I want it to get, instead only getting moths. That said, I haven't noticed many flies nor mosquitoes... Might try some sort of additional attractant to assist the UV LEDs.Note that you will end up hearing a slight pop when bugs explode.Unit measures ~13" high (including the hook ring) w/~6.5" diameter. The cord is slightly under 8'. The hook ring is about 3/4" thick, 1.5" high and has an opening of about 7/8". Measuring energy use, while not zapping bugs (so only the LED bulb being run) it draws a constant 4.3W.

The swarm ender
So there I was sitting in the basement on my night off from work. Submersed in the shopping on Amazon. Trying my best to not be eaten alive by the fruit flys of spring/summer. Swatting every few seconds trying to be able to breathe in without inhaling the next swarm surely to attack at any second. Wondering why they were there. There is no food in my basement but my garage door open quite a bit so they are just sitting there waiting at the opportunity to invite themselves in. When there it was it this beautiful creation. I quickly ordered it with an arrival date two days from clicking the place order button. Fortunately I had to work the next two nights. I strategically planned my upcoming battle. Where would I place it? Where would my enemy most likely fall for its bright purple beauty? Would this be my ultimate weapon to change the outcome from suffering to victory? On day two I woke up from my slumber with a notification saying this had been delivered. I rushed to the front door, grabbed the box, opened it up and went to go down stairs to plug it in when…. OH NO!!!!! It’s still daylight. I impatiently waited for the sun to set over the horizon walked down my stairs flipped on the light switch to my man cave and plugged it in. Walked over to the light switch and said “Bravo 6 going dark” as I sent my basement into the darkness ready for the battle to come. I looked up to see how bright this thing really is. I walked over to my computer and sat down. When BANG!!! I heard the first of my enemies fall for it’s beauty. It was semi loud so it startled me. I chuckled as I heard a few more flys meet their demise. When they decided to rush the battlefield with all their troops. It sounded like the 4th of July with all the snaps and crackles constantly going off. After about 20 minutes, the blasts began to slow. Was this it? Had I finally emerged victorious? The answer to that question lies within the bottom of the trap. With the ease of a quick turn I pulled the convenient cleaning tray out of the bottom to see flies lying in the bottom. Never to bother me again. I highly recommend this product to anyone facing a swarm of insects. It was well worth the money.
