Great Buy/Affordable
Buy it!!!!! Nice appearance, it’s designed well, easy assembly, pretty sturdy, and the size is small but good for 6 small chicks, 2 baby ducks, 6 baby Quails or even 12 Button quails.

missin almost everything.
online this item looked great! But when it came it was missing everything but thee wood. I looked everyware for the missing scrus, hinges, heat lamps, etc.... but they were nowere to be found. I dont know what happened because the other reviews were great but after buying this im thinking i should have kept the chickens in theyre cardbord box...... the only reason this even gets one star is because it came with one thing........just wood.

Good value for the money.
Easy to assemble and lightweight. Have used this through 2 hatches and absolutely love it. The box is the perfect size for a small hatch, heat light is adjustable and cleans easily.

Decent
The wood is very lightweight, and I was worried that the screws would split it. That didn't happen and the screws were easy to get into the soft wood, so assembly was relatively easy. The clear panels don't fit perfectly, but they will do. The light element needs to be assembled, so watch the video if you've never done this before. I needed wire strippers because the wires that were exposed broke off when I screwed them into the fixture. The "diapers" fit very well. The thermometer/hydrometer is in Celsius and had no instructions to adjust it. The feeders are very small and I anticipate them tipping over often. The little clips that look like they are holding the feeders to the wall actually don't work because they need to be inserted into the wood, which isn't an option. Overall, I think it's decent. I think it could be cheaper or improved quality to meet the price. I also think the idea that it will hold up to 20 birds is ridiculous. It would do that for about a week, but then they will be too big. I think 10 birds is likely it's maximum capacity, and only for a few weeks.

Needs assembled
The tiny screws make this hard to assemble but once assembled it works great for a few chicks for the first two weeks. Definitely would not recommend putting 12 chicks in this.

Good product
Works great!I brought it to the feed store with me and put them right in, hurried home and plugged it in to warm them up.The feeder didn't work very well with the size of the grains that I got from the feed store, but i just used a few short sake cups squished in the corner. Also, the water gets warm, so I change it out, but they may like it warm?If it's in a cool space, a folded towel over the top and back, not blocking ventilation, can insulate it, but check its not getting too hot then, but ultimately I felt the warmest temp it produced was just right for the young chicks and then the light can be turned down as they get older. The diaper changing pads cut in half are an excellent solution.

Bulb not working
Meh.hard to put together. It works great for button quail. Maybe 4 bantam chicks for a couple of weeks. The main issue is- My light arrived not working after I wired it. Other bulbs work fine, just not the one shipped. The other bulbs do not put off heat… so I put together a box.

Nice little nursery
Nice little piece of equipment. I’ve used it twice so far. I’m a small time quail raiser, raising for family consumption. It wasn’t difficult to put together but the screws to attach the light were wrong so I substituted some I had. I have indoor cats so I do put mine inside an extra pet cage and I did glue in and then added tape to the front plastic see- through panel bc my adopted feral- turned self domesticated hunter cat likes to stick her hand through the bars to look for weak spots 😂 but I like it. I use it the first week for my cortunix quail hatches. It’s not hard to clean and I think it’ll hold up for quite a while as long as you have a floor covering like a puppy pad or some paper and then about 2 inches up on all sides. The light is POWERFUl so no worries about keeping the heat up. It’s good for us small time ppl and I paid $40 for it so I’m happy with the value as long as you clean it properly which you should be doing with any brooder. I’d buy another one of it if my numbers of hatches got higher. Very pleased.
