Its Small Talk with BIG VOLUME
First off the smell is great bit fruity but I like it and not very strong. It really does what it says. I have alot of hair and its pretty thick. But, add a bit of this and it has this lovely body to it without using rollers. So I have been using this product for years and I found here on Amazon it was half the cost. Great Deal. So if your wanting to try it out I should say buy it on here its money well spent.I apply it when I get out of the shower and have towel dried my hair and brushed it. Then I use about a dime size amount. The product is white like a sticky cream. I rub into both my hands then massage it though my hair. I brush it afterward just to make sure it has spread well though my hair. I do not normally blow dry my hair. Thats about it. Ok incase anyone is wondering my hair is just touching the back of my neck and in the front its about 5 1/2 inches pass my jawline. But I did use this product when my hair was all one length and it was to behind.I read a few of the reviews on here. To the lady getting white spots your suppose to use about the size of a dime and rub it together in both your hands with rub it in though out your hair. Not to sure what you were doing. But yes I see it helps with fizz also with out adding that to much shine some products do.

Works well on fine hair.
Lasts well and provides needed volume for fine or thinning hair. It’s not heavy or greasy feeling.

I love it, kind of messy
I love this product and I've been using it for years, although it can be sticky and you don't need a lot. It works really well and I use it to help hold my curls better but it's supper good to use as a hair gel or hair spray

Counterfeit/Unauthorized and Substandard Product - Per TIGI
I wrote to the seller, understanding after the fact: "Buyer Beware", and received no satisfaction, which led me to write TIGI. The product came in the same plastic container as in the picture, but the similarities stopped there. Product did not have the distinctive "blueberry" smell and the consistency and texture was dramatically different. In the hair it was heavy and greasy. I love this product by TIGI and stand by it. I did NOT receive it. There were tell tale signs of a counterfeit product in the packaging as to there being a "Limited Edition" plastic overlay on the container with a Halloween design and also a counterfeit tag to replace the trademarked "Blah Blah Blah" green tag that is usually on this product. So disappointing. After only one use, I purchased the product locally through my hairstylist and was again relieved to have my authentic TIGI Bed Head Small Talk back! I am poorer but wiser and my hair looks fantastic again...However I feel a bit stupid that I cannot get my money back for a product I used only once.I wrongly assumed I was getting the real product from a distributor. Here is the reply that I received from TIGI Customer Service which everyone should read before purchasing this product (and especially from this seller "salonwholesale"):Hi,Thank you for contacting TIGI Customer Service. Amazon along with other websites are not authorized to carry our products. Unfortunately neither is Fred Meyer, Costco, Target, Walmart etc.. We are unsure of how they get our products. I have added a little more info on this. Thanks for taking the time to contact TIGI.TIGI vs DiversionWhat is Diversion?Quite simply, Diversion is when products intended for specific retail channels are sold through unintended/ unauthorized channels. In the beauty industry- this is seen by "salon only products" or "professional products" being sold in mass market retail stores. Are Professional products purchased through unauthorized channels guaranteed by TIGI Haircare?TIGI understands that consumers need to be educated about the risks involved with purchasing "salon only" products through unauthorized channels, the truth is, TIGI cannot guarantee that the products are at the superior standards we demand (because we did not oversee the placement of these products). We strive to ensure all products on salon shelves (and authorized salon retailers) meet our quality standards. Testing batch codes, isolating inventory that does not meet our high standards, monitoring product dates, etc. are all actions taken by our company to ensure our customers receive the best products available. When products are sold via Diversion channels, we lose the ability to guarantee the quality of these products. That's why we provide a salon finder (located on our website) and caution "buyers beware" if products are obtained outside of our normal authorized sellers. Is Diversion illegal? No. Although not entirely ethical, the practice of selling 'professional only' products in Mass Market channels is not considered illegal. Are the products more expensive in salons? This is rarely the case (if ever); research has shown that higher prices are often found in Mass Market channels than if the product was purchased through a salon of salon retailer. Why doesn't TIGI do something about Diversion? We are! In addition to coding efforts, we monitor the volume and frequency of orders to the best of our ability. We watch for patterns and inconsistencies. The truth is that TIGI and its product brands (including Bed Head) is a recognizable name that represents high-quality hair care. We stand out on the shelves and people know who we are- this makes us susceptible to diversion, even against all of our efforts to stop it. If you have concerns or wish to report diversion, please email stopdiversion@tigihaircare.comKristin KempTIGI Haircare Customer Service & Reception800-259-8596[...]
