Love this Humidifier!
I just ordered this humidifier for my desk at work. The long very cold winter was torture on my skin and sinuses and luckily my job approved me to bring in a small humidifier. Such relief!I didn't want USB plug in because we are not allowed to plug personal items into our computers. Plus they seemed way to small. It is extremely quiet, even quieter than a larger good ultrasonic competitor brand I've used at home. It is quite small, which is what I wanted. It is very easy to fill and much lower maintenance that larger humidifiers. I keep it on the floor half under my desk and no one even notices it. I wanted it to be discreet since I had special permission. The shape is perfect because the mist puffs up vertically at a slight angle which can be adjusted by turning the nozzle. I keep it puffing toward me as I sit in the chair. Some of the other personal humidifiers may have required me to keep them up on the desk based on the angle of the mist I saw in their pictures.I chose this model partially because of the positive reviews. I didn't want to spend a lot since it is for work use so I bought the "used" Amazon Warehouse deal with damaged packaging. I don't know the details but it seemed to be brand new. But they probably couldn't sell it as new because of the box or maybe it was a returned item. The box was taped closed and one corner was a crushed but it really wasn't all that damaged of a box. I was pleasantly surprised.Another reason I chose this model is because of the nice pretty shape. It's almost a shame to have it hiding under my desk. The blue light is very pretty but of course I don't use that at work. It is useful if using it at night so you won't trip. I can see how it might be too bright for some people but I don't find it that bad as long as it is not in your direct line of sight. I did try it out at home before bringing it in. It was enough to add decent humidity to my medium sized bedroom. One con is that it is labeled for ten hours but it only seems to last about eight. Perfectly fine for work, and very easy to refill. One tank full gets me through the day, shutting it off for lunch. This is on low speed only. But I can see how using it overnight this might not be long enough. I haven't run it yet for a long time on high but I would imagine around five hours before a refill. The mist output is really impressive for a small unit. Even my coworkers that have seen it running are impressed. The unit seems very well built and I hope it lasts me many years.I think this unit is great and I gave five stars! I would definitely recommend this humidifier for anyone looking to purchase a smaller personal unit.

Very quiet!!
Wish the tank was bigger and that it was top pour, but it works great nonetheless. Very quiet! Perfect for personal spaces around plants or a very small room.

I'll tell you why I don't hate it
I like the portable size and styling of this humidifier, but if I had it to do over again I would probably buy a larger one just so I didn't have to fill it quite as often.Super quiet

Perfect for small rooms
I just ordered this and I couldn’t be happier! It takes a perfect 12 ounce water bottle and last for hours actually. About four hours if you have it on high about six hours if you have it on low. Also, it has a really cute blue nightlight that you can turn off during the day if you don’t need it. Mine works perfectly! Just read the directions first before you start filling it because what you think you know isn’t the right thing. Lol!

Nice compact size - fyi doesn't hold enuf for all night operation
I had one of these and my daughter put some essential oil in it or "old water" sat in it and the mist smelled terrible. (Don't put anything else but water in it btw, and try to remember to empty out standing water from both parts, so it can dry out.) I thought I re-bought the same size one but ended up with a much larger version. Note: The small compact size model is H920BL. That larger size is perfect for all night 8-10 hour operation, but it takes up too much room on a nightstand (for my tastes). So I ordered (again) and found the smaller size model (H920BL) I prefer, even though the humidified mist won't last all night. I also prefer the smaller model because its cord is detachable and you can more easily fill it up and don't have to mess with a base & attached cord as you do with the larger model. Also to avoid air bubbles stopping the mist, it's best to place the base upside down on top of the (blue) water funnel after filling the blue part, and then turn the whole unit right side up to place on table. When I tried to leave the base in place on the table, fill up the funnel part at sink, then quickly "tilt/ tip" the funnel part onto it, it ended up putting air bubbles into it that stopped the mist and made it not work. So I take the base and funnel part over to the sink and the smaller unit with detached cord is less hassle. Since I got the larger unit by mistake too, it makes random, rather loud sounding gurgles all thru the night that I didn't like when trying to sleep. The smaller one is quiet. My experience at least.

Possibly doesn’t have silver technology
Used distilled water and cleaned unit about every 4- 5 days . Unit developed pink mold/ bacteria inside the base . Gross ! I’ve never had a humidifier develop this . I think I got one without the silver technology ! Annoyed !

It works but not as promised
I'd like to say that it's cute, functional and easy to use. Unfortunately the "time of use" description is way off. It says 10hours of mist. I figured that was for the low setting and I was ok with that but it's actually 7-8 hours on low. It also emits a low volume high pitch noise that's extremely distracting and eventually painful. I don't know if I should return it or just put it in my greenhouse.

Is as pictured and described.
This the second identical humidifier I have purchased. The first one purchased 2-3 years ago and used in the cold/dry months is still working. The second one for which this review reflects, was used last winter without incident. This winter, starting around mid November, worked find until mid to late December when the blower quit working. Well, since having an engineer for a husband, we purchased a replacement blower, he installed it, and the humidifier is again working well.
