Q: Why does the tag not specify that they are French?

I purchased the linen sheets from Berklan. They are 100% linen from French.

Q: Does it keep you cool?

Yes, linen sheets set is most suitable for use in summers, as the fiber allows the heat to escape, leaving a cool effect.

Q: Is there a way to buy just the pillowcases? I bought the whole queen set already but I have 4 pillows and would like to buy 2 more pillowcases.

Q: 55 linen, 45 cotten...I have washed once, line dried. Sheets feel course and scratchy. Do the 100% linen also feel course or are they softer?

Mine are 100 per cent real lined and we both love them. After three washes, they have softened, and that should continue. How they feel is relative. They feel great, and have real positive health impacts (learn about that on Duck Duck Go). I've worn linen, long-sleeved shirts for about 15 years, and love them. They are tough, durable and feel great on my skin. "scratchy" is a relative thing. I love the feel of the sheets, pillowcases and my wonderful linen shirts. They will not feel like satin or any petroleum based fabric -- ever. A princess would want to use real, natural silk sheets.
