So far so good
Saw condensation in my headlight on 2013 BMW X3 35i, bulb was out and had adaptive headlight malfunction. Tried a different working bulb and still same issues. Pulled the original ballast and it was filled with water. So I ordered this since it was inexpensive compared to the oem one. Works fine, headlight is working fine and no more errors. The front bumper doesn't need to be removed, if you're crafty you can get to the 3 screws from the wheel well area or just from under the hood working from behind the headlight. Literally takes about 5 minutes to replace this. If you had an issue due to water intrusion, Don't forget to dry out and seal the light. I removed the bulb and also with the ballast removed I just aimed a hairdryer into the bulb opening for an hour. After I put it all back together I just used a 3" wide electrical tape across the top seam where the headlight lens meets the body. So far no more water intrusion and headlight is working for over a month. One day ill remove it to seal it properly. Let's see how long this inexpensive ballast will last.

Priceless part
This part alone saved me over a thousand dollars in possible repair cost. I did it myself .

Item don’t work.
After remove the front bumper. Remove left tire and liner on top of tire. Manage to remove the headlight not to easy. And at the end finding is defective.Already try to used on the opposite side and still not working properly.

Got the job done
I thought my BMW head light was out, but after going through the laborious processes of changing it with a very expensive replacement bulb, I determined it was actually the electronic ballast that had gone bad. The OEM part was much, much more expensive than this one. Who knows how long this one will last, but it was a perfect fit and got the job done!

Great replacement
Replaced original on a 2013 BMW X3 35i. Replaced drivers side unit. While turning the wheel to the left this control module now fires the left fog light on until wheel is returned straight.

Buyer Beware
Shortly after installing this, the bulb burnt out. I replaced that bulb and shortly after that the bulb no longer illuminated, initially thinking it burnt out again, but then I decided to switch the bulbs from the driver side and passenger side and found that the ballast no longer worked. In all, it lasted no more than a few months. I have since purchased and installed a more expensive brand, and haven't had any issues for a few months now. Lesson learned, cheap is not always better. Do not recommend.
