Yeah you can buy something similar to this at a hardware store but I actually love this thing! Had to buy one because it has different teeth for different wire sizes, different crimping abilities for disconnects, and terminals. I believe you can use this for house electrical wire just not the thick wires, might need to get something heavy duty. It has its own storage box so you don’t have to worry about losing the teeth for the crimper and it just sounds soothing when you hear the soft clicks after you crimp something

Already used it. Wonderful tool. You almost can't screw up when using it to crimp. Perfect / solid crimp.Crimper is solidly built.

Received the item and it's allin great shape. It's exactly what was descried by seller. It's all good.

Good quality wire crimpers. But not great. Be SURE to use the correct opening on the tool for the connector you’re crimping. I used the red for a blue connector and it bent the frame where the does slide into the tool. I was able to “crimp” the frame back down but this appears to be a design flaw to me. I have two other ratcheting crimpers and they both use screws to hold the die in place and the secures both sides of the tool frame. Still a very useful tool.

Love the crimpers and the replaceable crimp jaws, the wire strippers are so so.

This is an extremely awesome set, especially if you buy the add on dies. Whether you’re crimping basic eyelet terminals or building a whole stand alone engine harness, this set can do it. These get a good strong crimp and makes the whole job easy and fast.
