OXOGood Grips Steady Paper Towel Holder Countertop

The OXO paper towel holder is a really smart helper for your kitchen. When I got it, I just took it out of the box, and it was ready to use. No need to put it together! That was nice.This holder is super steady. It has a heavy bottom that won't let it fall over, even if you pull hard. The edge at the bottom also has little bumps that keep the paper towel roll from unrolling by itself. It holds all my paper towel rolls, even the big ones, and the ones where you pick the size.It's easy to get a paper towel with just one hand. You just pull, and it tears off nicely. There's a little knob on top to pick it up and carry it. I wish the knob was a tiny bit bigger for my hand, but it still works great.The holder looks good too, because it's made of shiny silver stuff. I have five paper towel holders at home, but this one is the best! It got the main spot on my kitchen island. OXO did a super job with this one!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Love this paper towel holder as it’s so sturdy that you can use it with one hand without tipping it over! Many times you have an item in one hand you want to wrap the towel around and don’t want to put it down in order to grab the towel and this is great. You just pull it off with great ease. We also use it at the dining table when we’re having finger food that is messy and you can just grab a towel to wipe up. And it’s really handy when you have an accidental spill as it’s easy to grab how many towels you need to mop up the mess.

Intelligent design of the Oxo Steady Paper Towel Holder's rod. The material and shape manage to hold the paper towel just enough so the paper towel doesn't spin and spin. The weight of the base is enough to prevent the holder from tipping over as a sheet of paper towels is pulled from the roll. My prior paper towel holder was at least twice the price of this one and it has a clamp that holds the side of a roll of towels and another that holds the top of the roll. In theory, that combination should have prevented the roll from unwinding but, it didn't. Instead, I had to use one hand to grab a sheet and the other hand to keep the roll from unwinding. That is very inconvenient when you're in the midst of doing something (as my brother discovered while changing out the kitchen faucet) and you can't use both hands. The design of the Oxo Steady Paper Towel holder is potentially good for anyone who has a physical disability affecting the grip of one or both hands. While I don't compare my from time-to-time weakness in my left hand to someone who has another disability, I can say that this holder will make things easier for me. The price of this paper towel holder is good. I'm going to buy another for my guest bathroom.

I cannot attest to the longevity as I have had it for maybe a week at this point. But I can say it is probably the most perfect paper towel holder I have used thus far. It can hold anything from cheap skimpy rolls to fat, bulk rolls. The lip on the bottom of the holder prevents the sheets from waving around loosely. The entire thing is well-balanced and does not tilt easily making it so that removing sheets of paper towel is a mindless task - no more turning the holder into a self-aimed projectile! I would say this product is definitely worth the money, especially if it can hold itself to the test of time.

Like others have said, expensive for a paper towel holder but it functions better than any other holder I've used by a wide margin. It's a decent weight but overly so. It looks nice without being fuzzy. And most importantly, my four year old can rip a piece of paper towel off of the roll one handed with no tipping.

Was skeptical but it actually stays in place on the counter. Very functional. Can tear a sheet off with one hand. Brushed nickel appearance is ok but wanted a more decorative piece, the one we liked never stayed in place so it’s a trade off between looks and functionality, thus 4 rather than 5 stars. Don’t get me wrong, the style is clean and sleek and washes up well when needed so it’s not detracting but just a bit blah. Credit to the company, for functionality, we seldom have issues with their products.

Fantastic paper towel holder!Base is weighted and balanced so it stays put. Holds large or small rollsand compliments the deco as well.I've had this for a few months and have zero complaints. It is an excellent product!

Great towel holder that I can use one handed. I needed to replace another paper towel holder, but I couldn’t find the same kind for sale so I got this one. I’m so glad I did! It’s the best paper towel holder I have owned. I ordered a second one to replace the one in my bathroom.
