Much Better.
So far this type is working better than the previous one I purchased as far as knowing it is functioning. With mini clips for battery terminals and indicator lights make this more informative. Previous type is a plug in with no indicator lights, had to use a volt/ amp meter to determine it was working.

Cheap price for a great little charger
Needed a charger for my 12 volt sealed lead acid batteries (gel type) that would put out 14 volts so I could get a good charge. Works perfectly.

Charges my Batteries good
I got this to charge my batteries up before going out prospecting. See my review about the batteries I bought. Works great for doing what it is made to do. I have a small converter for my truck that I will plug this into to charge up my batteries.

Works OK . . . but . . .
Charged a "depleted" 12-volt sealed lead acid battery that is used for house burglar alarm just fine. Only "negative" for this product - after a brief usage - is absence of an on-off switch
