Q: How much Rauwolfia Serpentina is in a serving, and what is a serving?

Up to 3 servings per day. Each dose is between 5-10 drops. I mix mine with water in a small shot glass. Very easy, very effective.

Well, I just looked at my bottle again, and it does not show actual percentages or milligrams. I discovered this product based on a lot of personal research, because for years I was relying on atenolol for controlling my blood pressure. I decided that I have had it with going to the doctors saying that I need more, and that they’d prescribe it to me but yet made me go through hoops to refill the prescription. So at my age of 61 as of last week, I decided to try this product. ( I’ve been on this particular product for 2 years now.) This is a strong product, but I did read the directions and calibrated the dosage based on how I felt; pulse rate, etc. My blood pressure seems to be brought on by adrenaline driven anxiety. This I find, helps wonderfully with that. So what I do, is take anywhere from 5 to 10 drops in one dose, and mix with water. However, I never do more than three doses per 24 hour period. I also take Ashwagandha, and a garlic capsule with magnesium, B-complex, etc. When I first started using this tincture, I was a little over zealous with taking 15 drops mixed with water for each dose. Result?: Upon standing quickly, I felt as if I were going to pass out. (Lowered pressure too much.) So I took less drops per dose after that experience, and have been fine ever since. Just wanted to add, that for me, using the tincture allows me to feel more in control of the amount I consume, versus using the capsule form of the same product.
